Consultation
Each one of our design and installation projects begins with a consultation, either in-person or virtually! We work with you to combine your dreams with our expertise to upgrade your lawn into a nourishing and visually stunning food source. Generally, consultations involve outlining your goals and providing detailed feedback on design options.
Design
After consultation, sign up for a custom design. Having a blueprint is the best way to ensure the success of your food forest or landscape. The assembled notes, data, satellite images, and photos come together to create a blueprint and video walkthrough of your property. We build the property as it currently is and add relevant changes and additions for optimal form and function.
Installation
Let the Terah Gardens team install your Design or Guilds for you, using the best methods and materials for your geographic location (zone). We always plant with kind loving intention and use materials that are good for Mother Earth, such as biodegradable weed mat, recycled plastic edging, and worm/mushroom compost.

Our founder, Jordan, began his journey in Michigan working at a health food store and then went on to start his own business, Terah Gardens in 2012.
With a strong desire to learn and grow, he has gained valuable knowledge about growing edibles in different USDA zones from many sources.
Jordan’s devotion to Terah Gardens is inspiring, and he and his wife Leelah are dedicated to creating a beautiful landscape that encourages the growth of native and pollinator plants and kindness to all.

Before working, we take a look at your space (usually through Google Earth) and advise you about the options available.
Design
We'll create a stunning design that fits your space perfectly. You'll be able to make requests and changes during this time.
Installation
